How to Use CBD Balm
The usage of CBD balm varies from product to product, but is mainly recommended for topical distribution on the skin.
The main uses of CBD balm are:
- For minor dryness of the cheeks and face
- To prevent fingertips from getting chapped
- For sore temples due to migraines
- Rough and red skin due to dryness and UV damage
- Itching due to skin stress
- For age spots and fine wrinkles
So partial use is recommended as above. Because of its hard and oily texture, CBD balm is not recommended to be used all over the body like a massage oil or lotion.
That said, it is full of rich moisturizing ingredients, so it is suitable to carry around and use for small, partial treatments. CBD has a variety of potential benefits, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, skin barrier strengthening and soothing properties.
When CBD is distributed on the skin, it has been shown to penetrate up to about 1cm from the surface of the skin, where it acts by binding to CB1 and CB2 around the distribution area.
In addition, it is now believed that it may affect deeper layers of the skin than that, and research is underway. In fact, according to the reviews of balm buyers, many people use it for muscle pain, recovery from fatigue after exercise, and chronic joint pain.
In addition, until now, CBD products for skin care have been made using the 99% CBD isolate method. This is because the full-spectrum method, which is popular in the U.S., is expected to produce an anthrax effect when taken internally, but the anthrax effect could not be confirmed when applied to the skin.
However, in recent years, various cannabinoids other than CBD have been found to have the potential to bind to cannabinoid receptors spread across the skin, and full-spectrum skin care products are beginning to appear.
