What is THC?

THC stands for Tetrahydrocannabinol. It is a type of cannabidiol found in cannabis grass and is also known for its "psychoactive" properties, the main ingredient in marijuana.

When taken, THC affects the body by binding to countless cannabinoid receptors in the brain and central nervous system. The effects and side effects of THC are described below.

Difference between THC and CBD

The main difference between THC and CBD is the presence or absence of psychoactive effects: taking THC can cause a feeling of intoxicated euphoria, a laughing fit, and other so-called highs; CBD does not have these effects. Even though they are the same cannabinoid, there is a difference in effect between THC and CBD because CBD does not have a psychoactive demand-activating element. Also, there are regions and countries where THC is illegal, whereas CBD-only products are allowed to be used in more places.

Benefits of THC

THC has a history of being disliked, but it is the main ingredient in cannabis grass, and it plays a very important role in achieving an anthracic (synergistic) effect in CBD products as well. There are three types of CBD products: full-spectrum products that contain THC and broad-spectrum/isolated products that do not.

And it is the full spectrum products that contain THC that are particularly effective. This is because all of the ingredients in hemp can be taken together for a higher entourage effect. Also, the products commonly sold are made from hemp with a THC content of 0.3% or less, so there are no side effects or dependency concerns.
