How do I use a CBD tincture?

There are many ways to use a CBD tincture. The most common is to place several drops into the mouth and hold it for 30 seconds or longer before swallowing. Adding CBD Tincture to your food can add a pleasant earthly flavor if you're using a natural flavored CBD. Or add some zing to a smoothie or golden milk with a Cinnamint, or Winter Mint flavored tincture.

How much CBD oil should I take?

The CBD dosage will vary for each person depending on their needs and the conditions they are trying to benefit. For some applications only a small CBD is required to achieve optimal results; in other cases, a higher dosage will be required. We recommend that you start with the recommended serving size and adjust to accommodate your personal needs.

What is a CBD Tincture?

A tincture is concentrated botanical extract diluted with alcohol or a carrier oil. Our tinctures blend CBD rich hemp extract diluted with neutral MCT coconut oil.

How long should I hold the CBD oil in my mouth in order for it to be effective?

Most people will hold the CBD tincture in their mouth for at least 30 seconds before swallowing to experience its full benefit. Tinctures come in different flavors so you can find the one that best suites your preferences.

How long will my CBD tincture last?

Since there is no psychoactive effects of CBD, determining how long the product lasts is difficult. Like any dietary supplement, we recommend taking daily for optimal wellbeing.

Better Together

Blue and teal Venn Diagram with 3 interlacing circles that read: Full Spectrum CBD, MCT coconut oil and DCP. Kind of Amazing.

At Elixinol, we believe in the power of teamwork. We believe the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Meet the ingredients in your kind of amazing product:

  1. Full-Spectrum CBD (From Hemp Plant): CBD is a compound derived from the hemp plant. Taking CBD is believed to have beneficial effects on the endocannabinoid system, a system in the body that regulates various responses such as memory, pain, mood, sleep, appetite and immune function. We use full-spectrum CBD in our products, which means you get the full scope of healing benefits from our sustainably-sourced hemp plants, without the psychoactive side effects of THC.
  2. MCT Coconut Oil: This liquid form of coconut oil works as the ideal carrier for lipid-soluble cannabinoids like CBD. With a neutral flavor and plenty of benefits of its own, MCT Coconut Oil works as the base for all of our Daily Balance tinctures and capsules.
  3. BCP:  Sometimes called a terpene or cannabinoid, this unique element of hemp binds to the CB2 receptors throughout the endocannabinoid system. It is the center of many studies as we explore more about hemp, and it's showing promise in a wide range of areas.

Kind of Amazing:  While many of our ingredients are effective on their own, we know they can work even more strongly together. Because when simple ingredients are thoughtfully formulated, they can make something that is, well, kind of amazing.

How to read the CBD Certificate of Analysis

A CBD Certificate of Analysis is a certificate that represents the result of analyzing CBD and is available from the manufacturer. (For consumers, it can be found at the manufacturer.)

This document is mainly required by consumers, suppliers, importers and exporters.

Here are some more details on how to read them and what you should check.

Tested Products

First of all, you need to know which product you are analyzing for. Usually you will find the full name of the product, etc., in the upper left corner, and you will know that the following results are for this product.

Ingredient blending rate

This results in an analysis of the percentage of cannabinoids contained in hemp in the product. The main checkpoint is to check the main components such as CBD and TSC.

However, in recent years, there have been other good studies of cannabinoids. In particular, due to its properties such as CBDA and CBGA, it is recommended to check for ingredients that tend to have unstable blending rates.

With a more detailed certificate of analysis, you can also check other ingredients.

For full spectrum products, check out terpene, nutrients, and more.

Analysis date

Of course, the analysis date and the certificate creation date are different. However, if the certificate creation and analysis dates are too far apart, there may be some problems. In addition, the laws on cannabinoids and hemp are updated daily. Therefore, it is also important to check the date.

Limit of Quantitation

By understanding the analysis method and detection limits, you can verify that the certificate of analysis itself is trustworthy. Limit of Quantitation (LOQ) is an item that represents the detection limit of a component. For example, the appropriate analysis method can only measure TTH up to 0.02%. Then, even if TTH is included by 0.01%, the result will be "0%". You can't measure less than 0.02%. The high level of LOQ as much as possible also leads to the characteristics of a good product.

Thus, the CBD analysis certificate is a document to check not only between businesses, but also for consumers.
