What is curcumin from turmeric good for?

Curcumin has been used for centuries as a traditional remedy for a number of benefits - most notably, its ability to fight free radicals and provide antioxidant support.

What is DHA?

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is an omega-3 fatty acid. While DHA is produced in small quantities in the body, to achieve adequate levels, it needs to be taken in through other sources – either through diet or supplementation. This Omega 3 in particular has been linked to improved heart, brain and joint function.

What is curcumin?

Curcumin is a compound found in Turmeric. It has been shown to be a powerful antioxidant and have a variety of benefits for aiding in overall wellness.

How much omega-3 fatty acids should you consume per day?

Omega 3 is supplement so each persons needs may be different. However, many recommend between 200-300mg per day. So two of our Omega Turmeric capsules are right at the median amount - 240mg.

Better Together

At Elixinol, they believe in the power of teamwork. We believe the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Meet the ingredients in your kind of amazing product:

Yellow and white Venn Diagram with 3 interlacing circles that read: Full Spectrum CBD, DHA and Turmeric. Kind of Amazing.

  1. Full-Spectrum CBD (From Hemp Plant): CBD is a compound derived from the hemp plant. Taking CBD is believed to have beneficial effects on the endocannabinoid system, which regulates various responses such as memory, pain, mood, sleep, appetite and immune function. We use only full-spectrum CBD in our products, which means you get the full scope of healing benefits from our sustainably-sourced hemp plants, without the psychoactive side effects of THC.
  2. Curcumin (From Turmeric): Curcumin is the strongest of the active compounds, curcuminoids, that make up the structure of the turmeric plant. Known for its strong antioxidant properties, curcumin is a great addition to keep you feeling your best. Because curcumin makes up only 2-5% of the turmeric plant, we source it separately to give you the most benefits.
  3. Omega-3 DHA (From Algae): DHA is a type of omega-3 fatty acid known to support cognitive function, neuroprotection and overall brain health. DHA is typically sourced from fish oils, which often have a not-so-yummy fishy taste, poses dietary restrictions and can trigger allergies. We use only algae-based DHA in our products so you get all the brain benefits, without the fishy drawbacks.

Kind of Amazing: While many of our ingredients are effective on their own, we know they can work even more strongly together. Because when simple ingredients are thoughtfully formulated, they can make something that is, well, kind of amazing.

How to read the CBD Certificate of Analysis

A CBD Certificate of Analysis is a certificate that represents the result of analyzing CBD and is available from the manufacturer. (For consumers, it can be found at the manufacturer.)

This document is mainly required by consumers, suppliers, importers and exporters.

Here are some more details on how to read them and what you should check.

Tested Products

First of all, you need to know which product you are analyzing for. Usually you will find the full name of the product, etc., in the upper left corner, and you will know that the following results are for this product.

Ingredient blending rate

This results in an analysis of the percentage of cannabinoids contained in hemp in the product. The main checkpoint is to check the main components such as CBD and TSC.

However, in recent years, there have been other good studies of cannabinoids. In particular, due to its properties such as CBDA and CBGA, it is recommended to check for ingredients that tend to have unstable blending rates.

With a more detailed certificate of analysis, you can also check other ingredients.

For full spectrum products, check out terpene, nutrients, and more.

Analysis date

Of course, the analysis date and the certificate creation date are different. However, if the certificate creation and analysis dates are too far apart, there may be some problems. In addition, the laws on cannabinoids and hemp are updated daily. Therefore, it is also important to check the date.

Limit of Quantitation

By understanding the analysis method and detection limits, you can verify that the certificate of analysis itself is trustworthy. Limit of Quantitation (LOQ) is an item that represents the detection limit of a component. For example, the appropriate analysis method can only measure TTH up to 0.02%. Then, even if TTH is included by 0.01%, the result will be "0%". You can't measure less than 0.02%. The high level of LOQ as much as possible also leads to the characteristics of a good product.

Thus, the CBD analysis certificate is a document to check not only between businesses, but also for consumers.
